Awareness is a key aspect in our fight against cancer. In order to make people more aware regarding the risk of tobacco smoking, we attended Samita Mishra Memorial Foundation for Cancer Research's event at Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi on 31st of May 2019 (World No-Tobacco Day). The panel consisted of speakers from Cancertame Private Limited & many other notable doctors from reputed hospitals. Our team gave a presentation on the topic of "Role of tobacco in the genesis of cancer".
We discussed about how consuming tobacco can significantly increase the chances of cancer. There are more than 6 million tobacco-related deaths every year across the world, out of which one-sixth occur in India alone.
